New Partnerships for Unilam


Following the tremendous success of COOLTEMPER toughening plants throughout Europe, Unilam are pleased to announce new partnerships that they have formed with two prestigious companies, IGIS Co Ltd and Eastech Ltd. Unilam will be adding their full product range to the list of machinery they supply (brochures included). These new products will have the engineering and service backup of Unilam International throughout Europe.

IGIS Co Ltd

IGIS are based in South Korea, and have manufactured insulating glass machinery for fifteen years. Though it is fair to say that until three years ago when Dow Corning became the major investor in the company, IGIS was not very well known; however in the past three years with Dow Corning’s expertise the company has become the top supplier in Asia for IG Unit lines with over 100 auto robot lines working in Korea alone. They now have plants in Germany and their latest installation is in Northern Ireland. The company is proving the quality of its products in the world market and with their very competitive price, it is without doubt they will be doing more installations of these machines in the coming year.

Eastech Ltd

Eastech are based in Taiwan at the heart of the electronics industry. They have designed one of the world’s most accurate printers that’s available in today’s market place. Their specially developed ink that cures within three seconds without assistance is revolutionary to glass printing. The machines are available in a huge range of sizes from 600mm wide to 3000mm wide.

Unilam are pleased to announce that they will have a machine installed in early December at their offices for demonstrations, and they will invite customers to bring along their own designs to test the machine out, if you are interested in seeing the machine please do not hesitate in contacting Unilam and they will be happy to arrange a visit.
