Glass bonding adhesives

The Vitralit range includes a gel type adhesive (Gelfast) which is dispensed from a syringe. It has excellent gap fill, moisture resistance, is optically clear and can be used on vertical bond lines, says the company. It is suitable for bonding metal hinges, legs and door magnets to glass panels. Vitralit VBB1 is a bevel bonding adhesive while Vitralit 6441 is a range of standard glass fabrication adhesives. Vitralit ‘Chipfill’ and Vitralit ‘Crack Repair’ products have been used in the repair of glass for 24 years.
